December 2021
Hello Survive the Drive board, supporters and friends,
It is with great pride and sadness that the Survive the Drive, Inc. company will legally dissolve at the end of this year. Our ‘track record’ has been, driver safety presentations and active driver ‘hands on,’ crash preventive programs to an audience of 150,000+ since 1996. Your help and support in providing these informative crash, injury and fatality presentation events is greatly appreciated, the value of preventing disappointment and tragedy.
These past many months of the COVID pandemic has put our program pretty much out of the business of making presentations to school assemblies, libraries and conferences. Even with high percentages of secondary school students getting the vaccines, the group gatherings are mostly eliminated from school programs.
Also, with me at 75, and Lori’s family and professional pursuits, this grand enterprise needs to divest itself, perhaps to another similar organization. Most appreciated, . . . hard to find that level of commitment.
As a final effort, the value of our trademarked company name, history, and the researched intellectual information and curriculum of the Survive the Drive, Inc presentation deserves consideration.
With the aid of a local videographer, we made a video of the program, using one of the classrooms at Lime Rock as our empty studio. I’m attempting to use it as a pilot that a larger funded company or organization might use to gain broader reach through their own distribution.
So, at this juncture, Survive the Drive, Inc. will be retired. There are several legal provisions that need to be attended to. We are very proud of all we have accomplished.
Thanks to you, our many sponsors and donors.
Fondly,
Bob Green
